I offer psychological consultations and psychotherapy in a wide range of mental health problems (e.g. depressive and anxiety disorder, neurosis, psychosomatic disorder, personality disorder) as well as in emotional crises (i.e. divorce, loss and mourning, relationship problems). I work also with couples.
I cooperate with English- and French-speaking psychiatrists and with a psychotherapist who speaks German.
About me
Izabela Preś-Magiera
I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist. I graduated from the University of Wrocław (The Faculty of Psychology, Clinical Psychology specialization) and then I completed training programs at the Systemic Psychotherapy Centre (OPS) in Krakow and at the Cracovian Psychodynamic Centre (KCP).
I am a certified psychotherapist (certificate nr 134) of Polish Society of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (PTPPd).
For many years I have worked in an outpatient mental health centre and in a children's psychiatric ward. Currently I have a private psychological practice as a part of Psychodynamic Centre of Lower Silesia (DCP).
I have my work supervised regularly by a certified supervisor of PTPPd as well as a supervisor of ISTFP.
I have provided both individual and couple psychotherapy for over 20 years and I have worked with English-speaking clients for over 15 years.
